Writer and digital artist, Alan Bigelow has received the Robert Coover Award for Electronic Literature; the Lauréat du Prix (First Prize), BIPVAL international Prix de Poésie Média; and the Judge’s Prize, Opening Up Digital Fiction Writing Competition. He has also been a Finalist in the London International Creative Competition (LICC); winner of a Silver award in the W3 Awards; shortlisted for the New Media Prize; and First Runner Up in the Digital Humanities Awards. His work has appeared in the Library of Congress (USA), SFMOMA, La Bibliothèque Nationale de France (Paris), ICIDS, Turbulence.org, Rhizome.org, The National Art Center (Tokyo), Los Angeles Center for Digital Arts, FreeWaves.org, The Museum of New Art, New River Journal, Blackbird, Drunken Boat, and many other places worldwide.
